1) What is the core business of Masary? Masary’s core business is based on business development of the e-wallet business concept in the Middle East, operating and marketing it under one brand 2) What does Masary mean? Masary was coined in the last century by people in the Levant region who called the money spend by Egyptians “Masary” meaning the money of Egyptians; it is still being used by them as well as the Arabian Gulf countries. 3) What is MFI? MFI stands for Micro Finance Institutions who provide small (micro) loans to people who are poor and near poor need this money to start a business and make a living. Masary chose this sector to start with to establish a national payment network in Egypt that facilitates create jobs and alleviate poverty in Egypt. 5) What is an e-wallet? E-wallet is basically a virtual wallet (account) that can exist on a mobile handset, attached to a card, POS terminal, etc… 6) What is MDC? MDC is the Mobile Device Client representing the e-wallet for the MFI sector, to start using Masary’s services; it is available through several Mobile Channels. 7) What is the e-wallet? This service is provided to merchants and shop owners through registering in Masary and getting account number which is the Mobile number. This account has a cash balance which enable you to buy or sale on the fly balance for the three operators also charging the land lines through" Moftah l Zero" which can be used for trading or personal consumption. You can recharge your balance via the Mobile and the internet or Masary's agents or paying directly to Masary's bank account in "Cairo Bank" or "Masr bank". 8) How can I get Masary's charging service? By contacting directly to Masary's working team to request opening account at Masary to get Masary's charging services also you can contact us via E-mail which mentioned at Masary's web site or by sending a letter to the postal address or fax 9) How can I use Masary's e-wallet? All you need to use Masary's e-wallet is Internet connection via your PC or Mobile and Masary will send you complete guide to help you to use Masary's charging service. Note: In case of using the Mobile to access your Masary's account you should take in your account that your Mobile should support the internet access service then you need to get the internet settings on your Mobile according to the type of the SIM used in accessing the internet (where the internet settings vary between the 3 Mobile operators in Egypt) 10) How can I set up my mobile to access internet? If your mobile can access follow your steps Setting up your mobile varies according to your SIM as following Eitisalat: Kindly send an empty message to 250 or a message contains “set” word to 250 or call the customer care and request to send you the set up messages Save these messages and in the internet settings chose Eitisalat Restart your Mobile and you will be able to access the internet from your Mobile. Vodafone: Call *888*4# to get the set up messages in Arabic language or call *999*4# to get the set up messages in English language then you will get the set up messages Save the set up messages and chose Vodafone network. Restart your Mobile then you will be able to access the internet from your Mobile Mobinil: Kindly call the customer care at 110 and request to send you the settings messages Then save these messages in the internet settings and chose “Mobinil” network Then restart your Mobile now you are be able to access the internet from your Mobile. 11) What is SSL protocol? Is a secure access protocol and it’s a technology depends on encryption protocols which provide secure communication across networks such as Internet Also this technology provides secure communication process between the user and the web site to prevent attacks that threats the security of information.
