Masary® announces a "Needy Job Creation program" for NGOs in Egypt E-mail

Masary has designed and launched a "Needy Job Creation Program" to be implemented with the Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) legally working in Egypt's rural areas under the supervision of the Ministry of Social Solidarity. 

The program will utilize the mobilization and automation services provided by Masary and equip the needy avid people of the rural areas with simple and user friendly wireless data tool.  In March, Masary launched this program with "Mawada Organization for Community Development", where they will choose more than 100 individuals and finance them to start their own small business using Masary suite of services.  Per the Operational Director of Mawada, Mr. Alaa Haggag said: “when there is a will there is a way.  In this informal sector, where the semi formal MFIs and informal NGO’s hold an opportunity and a major role in providing pro poor products and job creation, The young enthusiastic entrepreneurs should be our target for support and development.  Males and females in Mawada, Kafr el Sheik, would highly benefit from the Masary Suite of services and accordingly achieve our NGO’s vision and long term plan of community nourishment”.

Masary services include "Mobile Cash Collection" electronic tool, "Mobile Top-up & Airtime selling", in addition to other products to be launched gradually during 2009.
