In a first of its kind in the area of electronic payment, Masary acquired the Commercial Exclusive Right of a patent from Egyptian Ministry of State for Scientific Research and the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology for a system of innovative mechanisms and instruments of ensuring an easy to use Mobile and Electronic services and payments remotely.

Masary® and MobiKash® Africa are partnering to serve 250+ Million Middle Eastern and African unbanked citizens E-mail

Masary and MobiKash Africa have signed a strategic Business Association Agreement to jointly serve the Middle East and African un-banked and semi-banked markets, offering a unique suite of Mobile Payment, Mobile Disbursement, Mobile Banking, Mobile Commerce and Mobile Remittance services.

 

Masary, based in Egypt, is focusing on the development of services in the Middle East, particularly the Arab countries in both Africa & Asia.

Masary® to launch its Mobile and Internet Wallet for distributing e-services in Egypt E-mail

Masary has launched successfully its Mobile and Internet wallet to distribute e-services commercially for the first time in Egypt. It comes after its success in the Egyptian market through more than 600 POSs and merchants throughout Egypt.
 
"Masary's services will help the local market to develop many cost efficient electronic services, which will be reachable for the first time in Egypt and MENA, by a great population in the remote and rural areas" said Omar El Sanhoury, Masary's CEO.
 
He added "Some companies and large institutions used Masary service in its preliminary phase to serve their customers and personnel, they have achieved a great success, and the service exceeded 25 million pounds as sales volume ".

Masary is clearly setting the standards of serving the unbanked citizens of Egypt.  They proactively chaired a panel in the Global Mobility Roundtable held in Cairo Marriot on the 2nd of November 2009, with the title "Is the unbanked sector in Egypt ready for e-payment solutions?". The panel was very successful in terms of panelists and attendees who agreed all that "Yes, we are ready and we need it".

Masary® Team Celebrates Hiring 100 Merchants in Egypt's Rural Areas After One Month of Operation E-mail

Masary Egypt started its mobile commerce services operations the first week of June 2009 and just after one month of operation it managed to hire more than 100 merchant outlets in rural areas to distribute Masary's first service; Electronic Topup. Masary is focusing on non traditional merchant outlets to first distribute its planned digital and commerce services across Egypt and then deploy the services in the Middle East in partnership with key strategic local players in each country.
